Administration of the EU projects must be much more simple.

financial and administration procedures need to be simplified, primarily for project participants and not necessarily for the European administration, so that researchers can focus on research work instead of spending hours and days fighting with forms and different admin rules...

There is too much time spent on preparation of proposals and administering the projects, while not enough time to do the research.

The administration is often the greatest burden we are carrying on the path towards winning a contract.

There is plenty of rooms to improve the system.
I propose two step proposal writing for all calls.
Change in proposal evaluation procedure would also improve success of really good and original proposals. All similar proposal should be evaluated in a group by the same group of evaluators.

Too much creativity in science and research is hindered by current EU bureaucratic system of financing, some release of it is needed.

EU R&D is lagging behind mainly for two reasons: a) bureaucratic procedures and b) low implementation of R&D into industrial environment (spin-off etc.)

Lengthy and complicated accounting procedures as well as delayed financing do not support the endeavors of European scientists for competitiveness on global level.
