This is the biggest obstacle for many excellent researchers to participate in EU research programmes, so simplification or rules is more then desired

As a coordinator of already completed FP6 project I will not recomend any of my collegues to repeat my mistakes. The application procedure too complicated, writing the reports also, but financial reports are just a nightmare. I was trained to do science, not accouning.
